Athletics & Social Distancing

Throughout this unprecedented time, we encourage everyone to follow the social distancing directives and recommendations of our government officials and health care experts. As such, our District will continue to adhere to the mandates set forth by the IHSA and IESA, which prohibit us from games, organized practices, and gathering of our athletic teams during this time. We strongly encourage our student-athletes to refrain from getting together on their own to work out in groups. Please practice safe social distancing guidelines. The pandemic we all face impacts us in so many ways. The loss of games and the potential loss our spring sports seasons is surely one of many things taking a toll on those impacted. While the threats to our society go far beyond athletics, we acknowledge that athletics is an important part of many lives. Please be safe. Please be conscious of the risks, not only to yourselves, but to others in our community.
